Summer 2014: Around Southern Langjökull to the Kerlingarfjöll
Three weeks we walked from Reykholt in the west of Langjökull to the Kerlingarfjöll. Three weeks with rain every day, moments of sunshine were rare. Nevertheless it was an interesting journey to isolated places like Þórisdalur and Karlsdráttur. The worst downpour hit us at the bizarre Jarlhettur mountains were we had to wait more than 24 hours in the tent. Alas, not much detours and detailed exploration were possible as a result.

Fjallabak 2012:
Pictures of a long hiking trip in the Southern Highlands of Iceland, between Hekla, Langisjór and Þorsmörk. There are too much photos for just one gallery, so i decided to arrange them roughly around the area they've been taken. The Tephra deserts around Hekla will be first, followed by the other regions we walked through. I hope you enjoy some of the photos :)
